It was announced that Colin Stewart, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Cyprus and Chief of Mission of the UN Peace Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), will brief the UN Security Council on January 14.
The Cyprus issue and related consultations will be at the focal point of the UN Security Council in January due to the meeting to be held in the UN Security Council to extend the mandate of UNFICYP.
