Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says North Korean soldiers have once again been deployed to the front in the Kursk region of Russia.
It has previously been reported that the North Korean soldiers had withdrawn due to heavy casualties. A Ukrainian military spokesman said last Friday that they had not seen any activity or clashes with North Korean soldiers for three weeks.
According to South Korean and Western intelligence, more than 10,000 soldiers from the isolated state were sent to Russia last year to help repel a surprise Ukrainian offensive into the border region.
