A judge in federal court in New York has announced that he will block Musk’s efficiency directorate, called Doge, from accessing sensitive data from the US Treasury Department, the AP news agency reports.
This comes after 19 Democratic state attorneys general sued the Trump administration for giving Musk’s directorate illegal access to the data.
According to the AP, this includes sensitive personal data, including information about bank accounts and social security numbers from millions of Americans.
