Australia’s central bank cuts interest rates for the first time since November 2020.
The policy rate was cut by 0.25 percentage points on Tuesday. This is the first interest rate cut in Australia since November 2020.
The new key interest rate is now 4.10 percent.
However, the central bank states that it “remains cautious” about the possibility of more interest rate cuts in the future.
