At least three people have died after a plane crashed in Australia, authorities say.
The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the western part of the country off Rottnest Island, near the city of Perth.
Two tourists from Denmark and Switzerland and the pilot of the plane died in the crash. Three other people were injured in the accident.
State police say they have launched an investigation into the accident.
