The acting head of the Social Security retirement system, Michelle King, has resigned after disagreements with Elon Musk’s Doge team, according to the Washington Post’s sources.
King, a decades-long employee of the Social Security Administration, was named acting administrator last month.
She left the job on Sunday after disagreements with Musk’s efficiency agency, Doge, three people familiar with the departure told the Washington Post.
