In Cyprus, we have a talent for turning a drizzle into a deluge with our weather forecasts.
Take the past few days for instance – we’ve been under siege from yellow warnings and reports of the melodramatically named ‘Coral’ weather front.
If some media are to be believed, we should be bracing ourselves for a snowpocalypse, up to our eyes in fluffy white doom.
In reality, unless you’re frolicking in the mountains, it’s just a bit nippy. Fresh even. On the coast in Larnaca on a fine Saturday morning, the sun is beaming, the air is brisk, and the sky is a perfect shade of blue.
