FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – US President Donald Trump announced that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) will invest over $100 billion in the United States.
The investment will include the construction of five factories, primarily in Arizona. The total investment is expected to reach around $165 billion, potentially creating 20,000 to 25,000 jobs.
Additionally, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced last week that the company will invest more in the US over the next four years. Trump has been encouraging companies to produce goods in the United States rather than other countries.
