A 21-year-old man was arrested in Limassol following a police investigation into social media posts allegedly promoting terrorism, authorities said Friday.
Police executed a court-approved search warrant at a residence in Limassol on Thursday morning, uncovering evidence linked to the case. The suspect was detained based on testimony obtained during the search.
The man appeared before the Limassol District Court on Friday morning, which ordered his detention for eight days as the Criminal Investigation Department continues its inquiries.
