FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Cyprus Police and the Municipality of Larnaca will co-host an open event Thursday, March 13, focusing on the “Neighborhood Watch” initiative.
The event, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Multipurpose Social Welfare and Employment Center in Larnaca, will include a presentation on the Neighborhood Watch program. Attendees will also have the opportunity to register as participants.
Established in 2011, Neighborhood Watch serves as a modern crime prevention strategy, fostering collaboration between the police, local government, and citizens. Participants act as community observers to enhance safety and security.
The event is under the auspices of Justice and Public Order Minister Marios Hartsiotis.
