Doctors at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital have confirmed that Pope Francis is out of danger and his clinical condition is stable.
Recent improvements have been validated by blood tests and clinical findings, as well as the Pope’s positive response to medical treatment, according to Vatican News.
The 88-year-old pontiff has been receiving treatment for double pneumonia since February 14.
His condition has been critical at times, necessitating the use of a ventilator on several occasions.
Despite his progress, the Pope will need to remain in the hospital for further treatment.
