The United Nations reports that entire families, including women and children, have been killed in a military offensive in Syria’s coastal region targeting a rebel group of former Assad loyalists.
According to UN spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan, the UN has documented the deaths of 111 civilians so far, but fears the actual number is much higher.
