FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Egyptian Ambassador to Cyprus Mohamed Zaazou highlighted the strong regional partnership between Cyprus and Egypt during an Iftar dinner held at his residence in Nicosia.
The ambassador emphasized the shared vision of the two nations for prosperity, peace, and stability in the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean.
Zaazou thanked Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides for his government’s support through the European Union on key issues critical to Egypt. Both the ambassador and the president acknowledged the excellent bilateral relations and common challenges that offer opportunities for collaboration.
Christodoulides stressed Cyprus’ role as Egypt’s representative to the EU, advocating for enhanced cooperation to benefit their Arab neighbors and the broader region.
