Dozens of livestock farmers gathered Thursday in the Aradippou industrial area in an effort to block authorities from carrying out planned animal cullings.
Speaking to CyBC Radio, farmer Pantelis Panteli said the group is calling on the president to announce an immediate halt to the culling program.
Farmers from outside Larnaca District also joined the demonstration, including producers from Limassol and Paphos.
