FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus is committed to contributing to regional stability and peace to the fullest extent of its capabilities, Defense Minister Vasilis Palmas said during the final day of the Multinational Civil-Military Cooperation Exercise “Argonaut 2025.”
Speaking to officials and diplomats, Palmas emphasized Cyprus’ critical role as a safe haven, offering infrastructure, facilities, and services to support regional efforts.
The exercise, held from April 7 to April 10, included participation from Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The Argonaut 2025 exercise showcased Cyprus’ readiness to act as a hub for humanitarian operations and its commitment to fostering international cooperation in a region facing complex challenges.
