FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan increased by 20% since the start of the year, according to the Uzbek president’s press service.
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev discussed strengthening bilateral relations during a phone conversation, expressing satisfaction with ongoing cooperation under the Year of Economic Cooperation framework.
Active projects are underway in various fields, including automotive manufacturing, textiles, electrical engineering, energy, agriculture, and tourism.
The leaders also reviewed regional developments and upcoming multilateral events, highlighting their shared commitment to enhancing strategic partnership.
