The death toll from the California wildfires has now risen to 11, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner.
Five of them are located in the Palisades fire and six in the Eaton fire around Altadena.
Authorities fear the death toll will continue to rise, and say they will not be able to determine the number of dead from the fires until it is safe for investigators to enter fire areas where there are power lines, gas leaks and other hazards, writes CNN.
