FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – At least nine people have been killed and 63 injured in a massive Russian drone and missile attack on the Ukrainian capital overnight, according to Ukrainian emergency services.
Among the 42 hospitalized are six children, The Kyiv Independent reports. Several apartment blocks were struck, and rescue teams are searching for survivors in the rubble, officials said.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the attacks, stating that residential buildings, businesses, and cars were ablaze in multiple locations. “There are people in the ruins,” Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
Timur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, reported fires in several districts, including Holosiivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi.
