Average salaries in Cyprus rise 3.7 percent

Average gross salaries in Cyprus rose by 3.7 percent in the first quarter of 2026, according to newspaper Politis, which cited figures from the Cyprus Statistical Service.

The average gross monthly salary stood at €2,601 in the first three months of 2026, up from €2,508 in the same period of 2025, the report said.

According to the newspaper, 40.9 percent of employees earn between €1,500 and €2,999 a month, while 33.9 percent earn up to €1,500.
