Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has arrived in Moscow with members of his family, TASS reports, citing sources in the Kremlin.
According to the latest information, the Syrian opposition has guaranteed the safety of Russian military bases and diplomatic institutions.
Earlier, Anas al-Abda, a member of the political committee of the National Coalition of Opposition and Revolutionary Forces , said that the Syrian president had sent a request to several countries asking them to accept him.
