Authorities in the United Kingdom have confirmed an outbreak of H5N1 bird flu at a poultry farm near Exminster in Devon.
A 3-kilometer protection zone and a 10-kilometer surveillance zone have been established around the property to prevent further spread. Officials said all birds on the farm will be culled humanely.
The H5N1 strain is highly contagious among birds and has prompted strict biosecurity measures in recent years across Europe.
