Chinese automaker Chery unveiled its Tiggo 9 plug-in hybrid SUV in Israel, expanding its lineup in the growing market.
The mid-size model features three rows of seats, a turbocharged engine, three electric motors, and a 34.5-kWh battery offering up to 148 km of electric range.
Chery’s Jaecoo 7 was Israel’s top-selling car in early 2025.
Chinese brands led overall sales with 81,711 units sold through September, ahead of South Korean and Japanese competitors.
