Croatia is moving forward with plans to build small modular reactors to address its electricity shortage, Economy Minister Ante Susnjar has confirmed.
Susnjar noted that the Nuclear Energy Working Group, established by the government in February, is making steady progress.
The working group will draft a legal framework for parliamentary approval by summer and propose the creation of a dedicated agency to oversee the project, Susnjar said.
