Croatia Sets Tourism Record in 2025 With More Than 110 Million Overnight Stays

Croatia’s tourism sector posted its strongest results ever in 2025, surpassing 110 million overnight stays for the first time.

Data from the eVisitor tracking system showed the country welcomed more than 21.8 million tourists last year, generating 110.1 million overnight stays — up 2 percent in arrivals and 1 percent in overnight stays compared with 2024.

Tourism Minister Tonči Glavina said the milestone coincided with record revenues and the rollout of a major reform of accommodation capacities. Revenues for 2025 are expected to reach 15.5 billion euros, a 3.6 percent increase year on year.

Glavina warned, however, that the sector faces headwinds in 2026, including geopolitical uncertainty, economic pressures in key European markets and evolving global travel patterns. He stressed that maintaining price competitiveness will be essential in the year ahead.
