A total of 547 traffic offenses logged on the road network of the Limassol district between November 18 and 24, 2024.
Specifically, 26 bookings were made for driving under the influence of alcohol, 23 for exceeding the speed limit, 46 for using a mobile phone while driving and 61 for not wearing a seat belt or protective helmet.
Most of the bookings, in terms of number, concerned driving without a MOT (80), while another 65 bookings were made for driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.
During the campaign, 79 cars and ten large motorcycles were seized by the Traffic Police for various offences.
