NICOSIA — The Cypriot Cabinet has approved €1.515 million in compensation for farmers whose crops were damaged during the 2024–2025 growing season due to adverse weather conditions.
The decision, based on a proposal from the Ministry of Agriculture, covers olive, avocado, banana, artichoke, winter potato, citrus, and loquat crops.
It also includes remaining funds allocated for emergency support to potato growers affected by Storm CORAL.
