FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus has launched Phase II of its airport development project, aiming to enhance international connectivity and hospitality, President Nikos Christodoulides said Thursday during a groundbreaking ceremony at Larnaca Airport.
Christodoulides, joined by the Ministers of Finance and Justice, called the project a strategic investment in tourism, trade, and economic growth.
The upgrades stem from a long-standing public-private partnership with Hermes Airports, which the president described as a model of effective collaboration.
He emphasized that structured planning and institutional support have helped the partnership yield lasting benefits for citizens and visitors alike.
