FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE — A 3-year-old child was hospitalized with a head injury and lung trauma after falling from the third floor of an apartment building in Limassol, authorities said Wednesday.
The fall, which occurred from a height of nearly eight meters (26 feet), took place while the child and a 9-year-old sibling were under the supervision of their 19-year-old sister, according to officials.
The child is being treated at Makarios Hospital in Nicosia and is in stable condition.
Police said the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
