FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus Police and the Aliens & Immigration Service, in partnership with FRONTEX, repatriated 15 third-country nationals on April 4 during a coordinated return flight alongside Greek Authorities.
This marks Cyprus’s fifth FRONTEX joint operation in 2025.
Since the start of 2025, 3,737 individuals residing illegally in Cyprus have been repatriated through forced or voluntary procedures, compared to 2,901 during the same period last year.
Meanwhile, arrivals of irregular migrants decreased significantly, with 624 arrivals in the first three months of 2025 versus 2,981 in early 2024.
