Tensions flared at the Paphos post office earlier when a 41-year-old employee attacked his supervisor.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director of Operations Michalis Nikolaou, the police are investigating charges of malicious damage, common assault, and disturbing the peace.
The incident occurred around 08:00 this morning when the employee, who had just returned to work after a long health-related absence, was informed of his new duties.
The employee reacted violently, causing damage to government property and attacking his supervisor.
The police are now investigating the case, with the suspect facing multiple charges.
