The Tax Department has extended the deadline for submitting individual income tax returns for the 2024 tax year to Sept. 30.
The extension applies to employees, pensioners and self-employed individuals without audited accounts whose gross annual income exceeds €19,500 — the tax-free threshold.
Declarations must be filed electronically through the government’s TaxisNet system.
