Cyprus’ House of Representatives meets Thursday for the final time under its current composition.
During the session, lawmakers are expected to vote for the chamber’s self‑dissolution ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for May 24, 2026.
The election proclamation will be issued in a decree by the interior minister, to be published Friday in the official gazette of the Republic of Cyprus.
Candidate submissions are set for May 6.
