FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – On Wednesday, a coordinated inspection operation took place in the Larnaca District involving the Mechanical Inspection Unit of the Traffic Police Department Headquarters, the Road Transport Department, the Larnaca Social Insurance Department, and the Customs Department.
The operation inspected 36 trucks and 13 semi-trucks, resulting in 32 complaints.
Among the complaints, ten were related to the use of vehicle tachographs, and six were for overweight loads.
Additionally, there were two complaints about worn tires, and seven vehicles had their certificates of suitability revoked.
