Cyprus: New speed cameras for Limassol

Two new speed cameras installed in Limassol will be operational starting next Tuesday, March 4.

The cameras are located at the intersection of Nikos Kranidiotis Avenue and Agia Anastasia Street in Polemidia.

They will monitor red light violations, white line violations, and speeding.

The traffic light system aims to reduce serious and fatal road collisions and promote proper road awareness in Cyprus.

Cyprus has expanded its road safety measures with 29 fixed cameras and 20 mobile cameras now in operation across key locations.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance road safety and reduce accidents.
