Cyprus organic farming surpasses 2027 target three years early, minister says

The proportion of organically farmed land in Cyprus has reached 8.6% of total cultivated land, already exceeding the national target of 7.5% set for the end of 2027, the agriculture minister, Christos Senekis, has said.

Senekis said around 1,500 producers are currently engaged in organic farming across Cyprus.
