Passenger traffic through Cyprus’ two airports has doubled since 2006, reaching 13.7 million travelers in 2025, up from 6.7 million, according to Hermes Airports.
The airport operator said its two decades of managing Larnaca and Paphos airports have contributed about 14% to Cyprus’ GDP, generating more than €789 million in revenue.
Hermes added that the second phase of expansion at both airports is under way, with project costs estimated at €170 million.
