Police in Larnaca carried out a coordinated overnight operation targeting criminal activity and youth delinquency across the city.
From 8 p.m. Wednesday until 4 a.m. Thursday, officers from various divisions conducted checks in multiple neighborhoods. A total of 15 individuals and 47 drivers were stopped and inspected.
One 43-year-old man was arrested for possession of burglary tools, while 28 traffic violations were recorded.
Authorities say such patrols are part of daily efforts to combat crime, reinforce road safety, and enhance public confidence in law enforcement.
