Police arrested a 23-year-old man last night in connection with an ongoing case.
At around 9:30 p.m. the 23-year-old was stopped for a check by officers on a Limassol street.
During the search, a large number of items, including watches, sunglasses, electronic devices, and other valuables, were found inside a bag in his possession and seized as evidence.
The individual did not provide sufficient explanations as to how he came into possession of the items, leading to his arrest.
When questioned later, the suspect allegedly stated that the property was stolen from a residence in Limassol during a burglary committed on February 26, 2025.
The Limassol Tax Office is currently investigating the case.
