Two young girls have been arrested after being caught driving a stolen car in Larnaca.
The girls, aged 16 and 17, reportedly stole the vehicle and started cruising around the city.
They were arrested after being spotted heading to the port area – not far from the main police station.
Police are looking for another person in connection with the incident.
Just last week, traffic police in Paphos detained a teenage driver of a car speeding along the “Tombs of the Kings” Avenue.
Behind the wheel was a 16-year-old, who was driving his parents’ car, without a license and without insurance or MOT.
The vehicle was seized, while the minor’s father was taken to the police station, who will be called upon to face the consequences of the law.
