Police in Cyprus have arrested three men, aged 44, 57 and 58, in connection with the forgery of employment contracts of two football players, which had been submitted to the Cyprus Football Federation.
The suspects were taken to Paralimni Court, which ordered their 8-day detention.
They are accused of conspiracy to commit a felony and fraud, of preparing and circulating a forged document, and of obtaining registration by false representation.
The offenses appear to have been committed in Paralimni and Nicosia.
