Cyprus tourism hits record levels in 2025, deputy minister says

Cyprus recorded the strongest tourism performance in its history in 2025, posting all‑time highs in arrivals and revenue, the country’s deputy tourism minister has said.

Presenting the ministry’s annual review, Deputy Minister Kostas Koumis said the figures confirm tourism’s role as a key pillar of economic growth and resilience.

Arrivals surpassed 4.5 million visitors for the first time, marking a 12.2% increase from the previous year and a 41.6% rise over the past three years, he said.

Tourism revenue for January through November rose 5.3% from the previous year and 51.1% over a three‑year period, according to the ministry.
