Skies will turn partly cloudy through the day, with developing clouds bringing local showers and isolated thunderstorms from midday onward, mainly over the mountains, inland areas and the east. Hail is possible in storms.
Winds will blow southwest to northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, strengthening later to 4 to 5 Beaufort and reaching 6 Beaufort on the south coast in the afternoon. Seas will become slight to locally moderate. Temperatures will reach 30°C inland, around 28°C on the south and east coasts, 25°C on the west and north coasts and 20°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, low cloud will form in places, mainly in the west. Winds will remain southwest to northwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will be slight to moderate. Temperatures will fall to around 17°C inland and on the coasts and 11°C in the higher mountains.
On Friday, increased afternoon cloud may bring an isolated shower or storm in southern and eastern areas.
Saturday and Sunday will bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the mountains and inland in the afternoon. Temperatures will hold near seasonal averages through Sunday.
