A livestock‑farmers’ group plans a new protest in Nicosia on Friday, escalating opposition to government measures aimed at containing foot‑and‑mouth disease.
The group, “Voice of Livestock Farmers,” said members will gather at GSP Stadium at 10:30 a.m. before marching to the Presidential Palace.
Organizers said they have already notified police to secure the necessary permits and traffic arrangements.
