WEDNESDAY WEATHER – 30 JULY – A seasonal low-pressure system is influencing conditions across the region.
Skies will be mostly clear Wednesday, with winds shifting from southwest to northwest. They are expected to begin light to moderate (11–18 kph), increasing to moderate to strong (19–38 kph) later in the day. Seas will be slightly choppy.
Temperatures are forecast to peak at 37°C (98.6°F) inland, approximately 32°C (89.6°F) along eastern, southern and northern coasts, and around 29°C (84.2°F) on the western shore and in higher elevations.
Tonight, mostly clear skies are expected, though patchy mist or fog and low cloud cover may develop in some areas. Winds will remain light to moderate from the southwest to northwest, and seas will range from calm to slightly disturbed. Overnight lows will drop to around 23°C (73.4°F) inland and along the coast, and 20°C (68°F) in mountainous regions.
The outlook for Thursday through Saturday calls for continued fair weather. No significant changes in temperature are anticipated, with levels remaining near seasonal averages.
