Cyprus’ Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry will take part in the VivaTech 2026 trade fair in Paris.
The technology exhibition will be held at the Porte de Versailles center from June 17–20.
VivaTech is one of the largest international tech events for startups, with a focus on research and innovation.
The 2025 edition drew about 180,000 visitors from 171 countries, including 14,000 startups, 3,500 companies and more than 3,600 investors.
Through the Cyprus Trade Center in Paris, the ministry will support the participation of up to six Cypriot tech startups. They may join digitally, with an online exhibitor page, and/or in person at the Cyprus stand in Hall 7.3 (3J40), using a 12‑square‑meter information booth for one or more days.
Eligible firms are technology startups founded within the past five years, to be verified via the Registrar of Companies. Selection will be based on physical presence and order of application, subject to final approval by VivaTech organizers, who retain the right to accept or reject candidates. Each selected startup attending in person will receive two entry passes.
Participation is free, but travel, accommodation and related expenses will be borne by the companies.
The deadline for applications is Monday, May 4, at 11 a.m. Cyprus time. An online briefing with VivaTech commercial representative Édouard Dellon will be held on Wednesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. Cyprus time.
