The EU will retaliate against President Donald Trump’s announced punitive tariffs on steel and aluminum, says French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
his remarks came after Trump announced the introduction of a 25 percent punitive tariff on steel and aluminum imports from all countries.
‘France and the other EU countries will not hesitate to defend their own interests in the face of such punitive tariffs,’ Barrot told French TV channel TF1.
