FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Torrential rains have triggered massive flooding in eastern Australia, leaving one man dead and at least 50,000 people stranded.
The body of a 63-year-old man was discovered in a flooded home, according to AFP. Three others have been reported missing.
The storm is expected to persist, with forecasters warning of heavy rain and a heightened risk of flash flooding.
