Housing prices in Germany rose in October, led by gains in newly built single-family homes, according to the Europace House Price Index (EPX).
The index showed prices for new single-family homes climbed 0.64 percent from September, the strongest growth among all property segments. Year-on-year, new builds were up 2.07 percent.
Prices for existing single-family homes rose 0.18 percent on the month and 2.18 percent compared with October 2024. Condominium prices dipped slightly by 0.15 percent in October but remained 3.29 percent higher than a year earlier.
Overall, the EPX recorded a 0.23 percent increase in October. Over the past 12 months, German housing prices have risen 2.5 percent.
