The multinational, multi-branch exercise “Medusa” has concluded in the maritime area of Crete.
The exercise ran from Sept. 10 to Sept. 18 and involved air and naval assets, along with special operations units, from Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, France and Italy.
During the exercise, participants carried out operational scenarios that included a ship boarding operation, a combined amphibious landing, and simulated air strikes by attack helicopters and fighter jets.
