Greece repatriates citizens from Israel, including Cypriots

FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Greek authorities completed the evacuation of Cypriot nationals and repatriated 105 Greek citizens and their families from Israel in the early hours of Tuesday, officials said.

The Greek Foreign Ministry announced that evacuees were transported to Athens from Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, aboard military aircraft. The flight also facilitated the return of citizens from 15 other European and third countries.

Meanwhile, Czech and Slovak governments arranged special flights to evacuate 181 people from Israel. Prague officials confirmed that 66 individuals, mostly Czech nationals, were transported via Sharm El-Sheikh. Slovakia’s government aircraft carried 115 passengers, primarily Slovak citizens, landing in Bratislava on Monday and Tuesday.
